WOW, im feeling a massive amount of angst aimed at the iPhone from you guys, ive gone from a MDA with limitless ability and the iPhone, while still not perfect is simply so much better, what it does it does so well that it makes up for what it doesnt do. I wouldnt turn back.
In a way its nice to know that Apple dont really roll anything out until they are certain it works. I would rather them bring out AD2P and other services when they have it working rather than rush it out just because other phones have it. The iPhone has one or 2 bugs, but none of them are major and none have really effected me, except maybe safari crashing once or twice.
For the time being services through the iPhone do not get access too data via the 3g or other connections, however, its likely that any software inside the iPhone will have this access.
I should point out though that when I questioned a certain TomTom employee on the matter they commented that it wasnt happening for iPhone, this may change over time, just have to wait I guess.
