TomTom Rider 550 track/route not transferring

Did a great 200 mile loop up and back to the Llŷn Peninsula a couple of days ago on some great roads.

As it wasn't my ride and I was simply following a mate who had planned it I used the 'Record Route' option on the TomTom then, at the end of the day, I saved the recorded route to my device.

Problem is the saved route isn't syncing with my TomTom account and appearing on the app. By not doing so it's difficult to see where the route took me.

If I create a route on the App it saves to the device, surely it should also sync the other way?
 
I wonder if that's similar to when you plan a thrilling ride or whatever it's called on a Tom Tom you apparently can't save it so you can use it again?

The recorded track has saved to the device as a route, it just isn't syncing to the TomTom app on the iPad, all other routes seem to have done so.
 
Has your 550 been set up with you’re mail address ?
