Hi all,

I'm still making them if anyone needs one. PM me for details.

This is NOT the strap provided by TT.

Ergon,

Tried to PM, but I can't. Could you send me the details at kevin.revin (at) gma*il-com

Thanks!

Steve

Are you still making these straps.

I emailed you a couple of weeks ago about the one I had that had snapped and was looking for a replacement.

I got fed up waiting for Egon to reply, I guess he's not making the straps anymore.

I found this little gem though on tinterweb

http://www.wunderlich.de/frame.php?MakeLang=wunderlich&MakeLangID=1&lay1=2&lay2=4&lay3=1&lay4=0&prodid=8600880

Bit pricey at £40 but it should do the job.

I ended up buying mine from NippyNormans

Zymurgy,

How are you finding the new cradle?

Easy fit, stable? any info appreciated before I get one too.

Thanks

Hi Format

It's very good, rock solid so far and a piece of cake to fit (nearly).

I found that the screws supplied to fit it to the TTR cradle were too short. Well two of them were. The ones that go straight from the cradle to the bracket are fine but the ones that have to go through the back of the bracket that mounts the unit to the bars were too short

I had to dig out some alternative longer ones I had lying about. Other than that the fitting was easy.

The only other observation I would make is that the key they supply to fit the screw at the top of the cradle which locks down the slider is a bit naff and I could see it getting chewed up very easily.

I replaced it with a screw that had a allen key type head as it seems somewhat more sturdy and less likely to chew up.
