I just bought the latest TomTom software to go on my MDA Compact PDA - mounted on my handlebars.

F-ing brilliant! I've never used GPS before so I have nothing to compare it with - but I'm a total convert. The maps are great, 3d view is excellent - a quick glance is all you need to see where you're going. Dead easy to use and a good choice of type of route, POI's and alternative routes etc. The best thing though is the audible instructions - a sexy sounding lady whispering the route gently into your ear - fabulous! And I LOVE the fact that she'll warn you about gatso's, sercs cameras, redlight cameras etc. Brilliant.

I can't believe I ummed and arrrred for so long - if anyone else is dithering like I was - I can definately recommend it.

Have been using Tom Tom Navigator 3 Bluetooth for a couple of years with my iPaq 2210 and it was always excellent product.Have just upgraded for peanuts to Navigator 5 and it seems a lot more professional product. I use it with a RAM mount and Otterbox waterproof case mounted onto the handlebars, and a dual charger adaptor. Always gets looks from drivers!!!

Hi Rugbug, what Otterbox model of case do you have, and how does it attach to the RAM mount. I use a BMW Nav 2 (same as Garmin 2610) but would like to add my Pocket PC (a "Myguide Navigator 6500XL" which is based on the Mitac MIO 168) for 3D view running TomTom 5 as I like the ability to read the road ahead on screen in this mode, such as junctions ahead, sharp bends etc. I would prefer handlebar mounting if possible.

Any chance you could post a picture of your setup for the benefit of others ??
