The bike.
2014 LC GS1200, with full Akrapovic system.
Standard Dyno run 100hp.
Second run after the magic map 121hp.

Result in the riding, bike feels sooooooo smooth, less vibration pulls like a train and power delivered much smoother through all the gears. I think I will be taking my S1000rr in very soon.
Cheers Geoff.

When I purchased the bike, recently it was fitted with the full Akron system, but with a standard map downloaded, and it was awful above 6000 rpm, felt like it was being strangled.
Happy now though...

took mine with 200mls on clock, Base Run = 93 Magic Run = 113, really tight motor so its consistent with plods, the headers seem to make a big difference..the can does nothin except look pretty:D

I went with tony and had my 2010 GS TC done too. K&N filter and flap removed.

79bhp 64lbft run before.

98bhp 79lbft after!!!

Mmmmmmm, smooooother. Deceptively quick too.

Cheers Geoff.

You have got away lightly, usually the first mention of Hilltop and the tossers are out in full force with their belittling!!

Frankly, for the amount you'd spend on a good restaurant dinner for a family of 5 adults with a bottle of good wine and a few beers, as long as you're happy with the result the negatively orientated people can go f...., no they're not even worth getting upset about. If the result feels good to you, the bike is smoother, faster, uses less fuel or whatever that is all that matters.

I'll certainly chime in with my perceptions on Friday 4/9

I wouldn't do it on a brand new bike BUT if you are happy with the outcome that's great :)

So, Geoff has waved his magic wand. The results? Well, it seems to start better, transition from over-run to drive is smoother and there is less snatch around town. The engine seems smoother and response is better. The bike definitely feels gutsier and I'm a happy customer. For me that's all that matters. I'll continue to monitor long term fuel consumption to see if what feels like more torque equates to better economy.

Where did you eventually overnight, and was it ok? :thumb

Mill on the Soar, everything seemed basic but adequate until the early hours of the following morning when my digestive system suggested that there was something seriously wrong with the prawn starter or steak dinner from the previous evening!

Took my 2012 TC to Geoff yesterday. I totally echo Packer's comments .. yes, it still vibrates a bit but it's a boxer and it's much smoother now. For the first time I can use the last 1/3 of the rev range comfortably as it just revs smoothly through to the redline; 70-80 mph in 6th gear roll-on has totally changed with instant response and smooth acceleration.

Initial max bhp was 89, now 104. Torque was 62, now 81. But the biggest changes are lower down the rev range (at 7250 rpm was 76 bhp, now 102 and torque up from 55 to 76). Very happy with a much more usable and enjoyable bike. Don't know why I debated with myself for so long before getting this done .....
