tool kit contents

I have recently got a 2002 adventure, looking through the tool kit it has three pressurised' bulbs' which i guess are for the emergency puncture outfit, but i think i have something missing, as i dont have anything to screw the bulbs into that fits the tyre valve.
I have looked through the insruction manual and it does not list the contents or how to use the repair kit
Can anyone help what i have missing and also where i could get the missing part from, and ho wto use it

there should be a white coloured adapter inside the green
puncture repair kit.
if not then you can buy somthing similar from most bike shops.
