Top box dilema!

Box fitted!

GIVI box arrived today and is now fitted! It looks good on the GS, not to big and not to small but ideal for what I need it for.

It can take upto 3kg, so its not intended for heavy use but for chucking your bits and bobs in its ace!

Im thinking of getting the rear brake light kit for it, has anyone had any experience of these? Are they bright? Easy to fit? Worth having?

Givi boxes usually have LEDs for the lighting kit. They're bright enough. Not too sure if they are actually sold as seperate items to be retro-fitted to boxes though. You may have to opt for that when you buy it. I'm sure you'll soon find out.

I too have been thinking about a smallish top box.
is that the 'GIVI 35L TOPCASE FLOW BLACK ' you have there
I assume its big enough to hold a full face helmet? :helmet

If its yes and yes I will go and buy one!

It is the one and the same!

Mine is black and cost £58 from Hein Gericke, ordered on Monday and arrived on Tuesday!!

Looks quite good because its not huge but not too small either!

Takes a helmet no problem!

Seems a bit of a bargin really!

... and then last Weds. I stopped at the garage to get some cash and......Arses!! - No Topbox...

As you probably kept your helmet on for the entire transaction... it was no great loss

Yup, I used the Givi "Flow" on my old 1150, no problems at all, and scooter shops will order you a new lock set if you stupidly leave the key in (it can't fall out in the unlocked position) and then snap it off on a wall whilst doing a 3 pointer!!



Well worth 58 quid (the lock/key sets are about 7 quid)

Now considering whether it's worth ordering another plastic base plate as I have the box, but the plate was lost when the GS was stolen??
