top box fitting

okay after a cheap top box and seen a universal one on ebay at reasonable price. Will a universal plate fite onto a gs rack at the back, any help would be appreciated.

With the rear grab rail removed the Givi / Kappa plastic universal plate fits OK and takes a dam sight more weight than the crappy 3KG they recommendonyack

Yep, what he just said.

I had a Givi 45L on my 1100 and now have a Kappa 42L on my 1150. The universal plates are identical and easy to fit with the grab rail removed.

I have an Ebay 45l box universal fitted to my 1150, the bike had a Givi plate fitted when I bought it but no box

The universal box fitted the Givi plate after a minor hole enlargement with a stanley

its all made in italy in the same factory thats why the plates r the same
we sell givi

I put a 45 litre box on mine for a recent trip and ended up breaking the rack in half, make sure that it has the support plates on the mounting plate!
