Top box rattle

2011 GSA fitted with ally to box.

Normally there is the occasional rattle from the top box/mount when on uneven roads but the route into work is speed hup hell and pot holed to buggery and the rattle is so annoying that I've taken the top box off.

I like having the top box on for flexibility of shopping on the way to/from work, carrying sarnies etc., before anyone starts...

The frame and mounts are secure and the rattle goes when top box removed.

Has anyone got any inovative solutions?

BMW assist could not solve the issue but kindly took the bike home on the back of a lorry.

you need to pack out the slopes the box goes onto with double sided tape,the black stuff with the green backing.stick onto the rack but dont take the top backing off.3m tape is best btw

Alternatively put a couple of fairly thick cable ties round the bar that the lock grabs, so the plate that pushes down on the bar has a mm or two of plastic to hold.

Stick some Velcro strips on the plate the fluffy side it will help

All good ideas, will try cable ties first as less permanent.
