top box

Hey guys
I have the BMW panniers on my g650gs I want to get a top box the same as the panniers like the f650gs can I get it for my g650gs

The top box that was a standard fit is the 31L type; see pics #1 and #2.
You will need to have the correct rack-plate fitted, see pics #3 and #4.

A word of caution - There was a very similar top box available for the 2004> F650GS & Dakar (twinspark) and the F650-Funduro. However, the opposing plate riveted to these boxes was a few inches wider and therefore does not fit the 200-2003 F650GS singlespark. Pic #5 below illustrates this.

Suggested alternatives to the standard BMW top box are; Givi, Touratech etc. These are likely to work out quite expensive as you will need the specific rack-plate and possibly other bracketry.

Pics #6 and #7 below show my ARDcases install. Roger (''Mr Ard.cases) custom made me the top box to go with my panniers - the rack-plate he fabricated fixed straight onto the same brackets that the standard BMW one afixes too.

is there anyway i could get the rectangular box the same as the panniers on the g650gs to go on top as the top box like on the f650gs single cyclinder ?
