I'm looking for a vario top box and mounting plate for my 1200gs. I have had no luck getting a second hand one so I am now looking at one from a dealer. I spoke to a sales guy at John Clark in Dundee and he said he could do one for £330 pounds but this seems expensive. Do any of you know where I could get one cheaper or do I just bite the bullet and pay £330? I live just outside of Aberdeen so shipping would also come into it.
It is the vario one I want purely for the look of it and it's all I'll need.

Ring around a few dealers I'm sure someone will beat that price. The only hassle then will be getting the lock coded to your ignition key

Make sure you get one of the new ones that have been redesigned to stay on the bike and not fly off over bumps.


The lock mechanism is prone to pinging out also.
