Bike magazine's long term test finished in this month's issue with the GS being voted the best out of twelve bikes tested.
Oddly enough, in the same issue, they listed their choices for the International Bike of the Year as:
1 Kawasaki ZX-10R
2 R1200 GS
3 Triumph Rocket
It didn't matter, though, as after the other nations' votes were counted up, the GS won that too.
