If you buy a bike and ride it just under a 1,000 miles without really checking it over it should come as no surprise when you start the servicing that a 1/2 tonne EG loaded with a fat bloke responds so much better to rider input when you increase the rear tyre pressure from 12psi to 44psi and the front from 22psi to 38psi....:blast

and i thought it had a hinge in the middle!!... now for the fluids,...

They pretty much have got a hinge in the middle (rubber mounted engine). The delights of which I thoroughly explored whilst in Portugal recently on fast sweepy mountain roads. Whilst in an almighty tank slapper, heading for a rock face, I remember thinking ahh! this must be the "Harley Death Wobble" I've read about. How I laughed!

I know it's not the same but I went to friends house to sort her dads Haybusa, he passed away just over a year ago and she wanted it MOT'd and ready for the road to test ride and maybe sell

So I Finshed and I says Away and have a look online and get a test this is @ 4 o'clock and I'm not on the bike and it's monsoon style rain so she gets a test for 6 p.m. and way I go home (16 miles) to get the bike gear and get back and get up to test a further 20 miles away for 6 and they like you there 15 mins early.....

because I wasn't a my garage with all my tools I didn't check the tyre pressures Lets just say a Hayabusa with 22 in the front and 33 in the rear in the PISHING MONSOON is DAMN entertaining when you're en route to test 20 miles away

Much better when properly inflated!

Thanks for the info. I have been aware of the fix but hadn't acted on it. I thought I would wait and see if I felt it warranted it. It does!!!!!!
When funds allow a Progressive link and some new shocks will be added.
