Fancy an ally box, but may work out a bit expensive at the moment, as alternative i could get a Kappa 44ish litre box and mountings for 1150 gs for about £150 Saw one on 1150 at Pidcocks and it seemed very firm and stable, with no "Flex" noticable.

To go for a similar Givi is going to cost me about £180
As the Givi box mounting plate goes straight onto the BM rack, does anyone out there know if the set up is stable?

My last box was a genuine BMW but was a bit big for my needs

I've just fitted a Givi E46 top box.It's plenty stable as long as you don't overload it.It's the only thing my wife will lean against as long as you have a backrest aswell.

Thanks Andy, The Givi would come with a backrest so the young'n would be catered for.....
