I bought some tobinators, and after about 4 months of fettling, cannot find "a sweet spot" either.
I'm 5'11'',with an 02 1150, have the standard screen, and ride with the seat on the high setting.
The best I managed to do was make the wind noise slightly quieter, but the trade off was that when it rained, the rain wouldn't blow of my visor!
I've since removed them.
I'm considering a adventurer screen, some people seem to have good results with this and the tobinators.
Any tips would help me too.
