I know there are other threads on torque wrenches but can someone tell me what range I require to carry out DIY repairs on a 1200GS please? Is 80NM high enough, I don't want to purchase anything as classy/expensive as Snap On but would like one that can do the odd job such as torqueing wheel bolts, crash bars etc and compact preferably.

Thanks Timpo, they look good, maybe I will have to go for two. Can anyone advise me torque range for DIY jobs on a 1200GS please. As original post.

Now that is spot on Timpo, I reckon up to about 70nm should do me for home maintenance, I certainly wouldn't get into engine strips or gearbox rebuilds, just the usual day to day stuff.
If I had a manual I would have looked...eventually. I'm in IT Sales so actually reading manuals is against all the principles!
