Just come across this and thought I'd try and put it on my Zumo. Past experience tells me things like that never seem to work however I gave it a go and connected my gps to the usb. I copied the file to the GPX folder in the zumo. Double clicked it and boom! up came the map with the track on it. Very impressed and very pleased, thank you.
I wonder if there are any other similar files out there for the peaks. The route seems to have a lot more road work than I prefer. Not sure if they are legal or not but many of the trails I use regularly are missed out, good long ones too!
For example, half way up the Ladybower road the is a great trail leading off from a car park on the left just after a cattle grid. If you follow the trail up over the top and thru a small gate you get to a point where you can turn right down another trail that comes out at the end of the road marked closed on Sundays, Or you can turn left and the trail winds down and comes out on the Snake, go straight over and that leads onto Dead Sheep Hill at the top of which is Hope Cross, turn right there and it leads all the way past Win hill and comes out in Hope opposite the turn for Pindale quarry.
So, that trail takes you all the way from Derwent water to Hope, a good few miles with only about 20 feet of tarmac where you cross over the snake!
