Dear All,

I have a 2004 R1200GS and I have been trying to fit a Touratech Xenon and Fog Lights. It looks like I will have issues with getting the Xenon Ballast box to fit under my Aux accessory socket (BMW added extra fitted to rear of beak). Has anyone else experienced this and found a way around it?

Appologies if I'm the 250,000th person to ask this, but it's my first post so be gentle.

Cheers

MD

A bit more information

The bracker differently looks like it is handed and therefore you would need a mirror image to fit on the RHS of the bike.

TT US quote two different part numbers for ballast LHS and RHS.

TT UK instructions say the part can be fitted to the LHS or RHS.

TT UK Office don't know, but say they will look into it. Convinced I am not.

No more info.

Looks like I'm the only one to suffer this issue. I will complete the thread when I finally get an answer out of Touratech. They are still waiting for a response from the factory. Reckon I could have ridden over and asked them myself in a shorter space of time. :nenau:nenau:nenau

why did u buy a touratwat kit? far cheaper options from a few members on here along with various bracket options

Purchased it before becoming a member of the forum.
Also thought buying a complete package form a reconised firm would be the easier option. Balls to that idea.

Good forum BTW. :beerjug:
