Hi all, any one bought the touratech auxillary bag that fits under the top box mount?. woundered if it was big enough to take the tool kit and maybe a small canister of tyre sealant:confused:

Arrived this morning, fitted and stuffed with rags to give it shape. (It was squashed flat for postage)
Yes, the toolroll I use will fit in one side, and my waterproof trousers in the other, leaving a small space in the middle which I have yet to decide what to put in.
My intention is to stuff the many chargers I will be taking with me next week (camera, GPS, phone) and maybe some socks to keep it all from bashing about.
Not the cheapest bag for the size, but fits perfectly.

Update

Ok, so maybe the tools were a bit much! They do fit, but the weight means that over a short period of time the bag gets pulled down and ends up bouncing on the rear light. I don't know how long this would take to be a problem, and wether it would actually break the light or not, but decided to put the tools back under the seat. Will post some pictures tonight, hopefully, along with some from a motocross practice track on Sunday!

Yep - got one on my 1200. Had it for nearly a year now. The tool roll (the advanced tool set for early 1200 adopters - there had to be some benefits!) and the puncture repair kit fit in it quite nicely.

Yes it does rest on the rear light but that is damped anyway so no problems with 14k miles use. It is neat and unobtrusive, and I like it.

Here's a pic:
