Touratech Engine Bars

I've just fitted a set of the above, but on the LHS at the top where the oil line securing screw is removed and the bar is secured, there is no gap between the corner of the bar fitting and the oil line.

I can't see any way of adjusting it - is this the same with other people?

Exactly the same when I fitted mine. solution? carefully chamfer the corner of the bracket nearest the oil line with a grinder and shim the bracket away from the oil line with a 1mm stainless steel washer.

Thanks Alan - I've now done almost the same. Ground off the edge of bracket and now have a 40 thou. gap. Need to get metric feeler guages!

I did 'phone Touratech and they were aware that this could happen, but thought it could be sorted by slackening off the oil line fittings and moving it slightly. I had no luck with this.
