Touratech Fog Lights

I'm being told by my dealer that the Touratech lights can't be wired into the GS1200's can bus wiring system...I'm pretty sure they can be but as I can't do it myself - I was releying on them doing it for me...anyone here know how it can be done?

Touratech list the lights in the 1200gs section on their website , so I assume they have worked out how they can be wired up.

Instructions will be in German of course - try giving them a call.

I have called them and they say they don't have instructions yet...

They can be wired as usual, as there is enough tolerance in the dip beam circuit to switch a standard relay. Just take the precaution of running seperate earth wires to each light.

It's pretty simple to wire anything to the new R1200GS, just use a relay to isolate the add-on stuff from the Canbus. Here's how: http://www.R1200GS.info/howto/relay.html

No, Halfords £19.99 Touratech wanted something like €150
