Anyone bought/fitted either of the new TTech black "grille" style headlamp protectors ?

Looks like both of them fit either LED or standard light.

Would be interested to know how well it works, does it obscure light, does it pop on and off as well as the TTech video shows etc.

My only worry would be if a sneaky little stone could get through the grille with enough velocity to crack the glass ....... now that'd be a nuisance.

I have put the clear TT one on,it took ages to arrive though .... It does work I have a couple of marks on it where stones have hit. My pal has same bike without and he has stone marks on his headlight . I would imagine its the same fitting kit as he mesh one ... It pulls of the mountings easily for cleaning and took about 20 mins to fit.

I didn't go for the mesh one for the reason you said ... Small stones off the road looked they could pass through it and hit the headlight ...
