Hi, this is my first post on this forum. Looking for some help. Was in Joe Duffys trying the new GS out for size. They had a BMW low seat but I was stil struggling with one foot down. Looking to buy a 06/07 model but wondering if anybody has a touratech x-low seat on their gs. I heard they are 1" lower than the bmw low seat.
Hoping this will sort out the height problem...otherwise ill have to look at suspension options.

Rgds,
Mark.

Hi and welcome.
I've an 06 GS with low seat, 29" inside leg and can get enough of my feet on the ground to feel confident :thumb

Hi Mark
Fiestly welcome aboard.
Do not touch the BMW low seat - it is greviously uncomfortable after about two hours in the saddle. I changed to a sargent low seat - better job entirely. I have had ne experience with the TT seat.

Actually Gerry, you're right, it is a bit uncomfortable after a while sat on it.

Hello and welcome, sorry I can't help you with your seat question but Beemer (Kev) of this parish know lots and lots about Renazco seats and the ones that look like Ranazo seats:D

Hope you get sorted :thumb

I've had a Touratech (or is it Wunderlich, I'll have to look?) since 05, it does the job for me, much more comfortable than the BMW low saddle. The base is fibreglass and had cracked slightly at the centre point between the supports but that seems to make it even more comfortable as the seat seems to flex slightly.
You're welcome to try it out. :blagblah:beer:

I have a Kahedo extra low seat which is like the other low seats but is narrower at the front so your legs are closer together and therefore easier to get your legs on the ground
I ride a GSA and have a 30" inside leg might be a bit far away but you are welcome to try it.
A few of the "shorter" lads on here have tried the seat and bring impressed

Sorry mine could be the same as Shortlegs as it is sold as either a touratech or Kahedo

Cheers to Shortlegs for letting me try out his GS Low Seat. Happy days...dont need to look at expensive suspension adjustments.
Thanks again for giving up your time and hopefully we will chat soon.:)
