Touratech opens E-Bay shop?!?!?

I think that you may find that this is an issue of 'sales territories' or something like that. I dont know whether TT UK is a francise, or wholly owned, or an agency or whatever, but I bet that part of the agreement that the 'owners' of UK operation sought from the German outfit was a non-compete clause in each other territories - in other words, UK purchasers will not be dealt with via the German operation and vise versa. Now I may be wrong, but I suspect that the dispatch/postage of the goods is not the issue, moreso it is the location of the purchaser. If so, then a friend with a German address and bank a/c, credit card etc, should be able to buy for you and I bet TT Germany will dispatch the goods to whereever they request, subject to the carraige charges, but will NOT if you try to order from them with UK details.....just a thought, its called 'free' enterprise, but the decisions are not always made in your favour.

Careful... this is a rant & it's NOT TT specific.

I've ranted on here before about rip off Britain, but this seems to be a reoccuring problem, for example buying Music on iTunes, you can't buy a song from another international iTunes site (say USA) only from the iTunes site where your credit card is billed!

So your forced to pay more per tune in the UK than in Europe! WTF! It's a Digital Download, so where's the problem! Apple claims they charge more in the UK because of Taxes.... Over to you Mr. Brown.

I also watched a very interesting program on TV the other night, apparently the best way to get on the property ladder in the UK is to buy something with a friend... well with the way house prices are increasing in five years time, you'll have to find five friends to share to cost.... still Blair will be OK in his 3 Million Quid Pad.....

Rant over.... FOR NOW!
