I was on the TT site and it insists on knowing where you are, I searched in the drop down list for 'UK' or 'GB', but no, the only country they recognise in these islands is 'England'


Some other peculiarities include 'Kanada' and 'Schwitzerland'

But to balance that out everyone up here knows that Austria is a German suburb

Judging by the sheer number of German bikers we were in amongst 2 weeks ago on the the Holland to Newcastle ferry ye wid think that at least some of them would have it figured that there is summat more above the English border than THERE BE DRAGONS
