Has anyone fitted one of the Touratech sports seats to their GS? If so, what do you think of it?
Thanks, Paul.

Got one of those

Yes mate I had mine on last summer and loved it. Wife does not like it so much as she can't see over my shoulder and says she slides into me every time I brake(oh boy that line can go anywhere:)).

I find it comfy and nice when you hit the twisty routes as it is easier to move around on the seat. It ain't no corbin but no regrets buying it.

Cheers

Had mine for about 15,000 miles now it's very good in the twistys I've done several 600 plus mile days on it albeit with a sheep skin.

Girlfriend says it's comfy and that's on long trips as well.

I also get help sliping into me when braking.

I think it makes the bike look the nuts and as I've said before have one of these fitted, take the screen of and some how the bike feels much more nimble.

An Option... I almost went the Touratech way but in the end had my saddle recovered with an extra bit of cushioning. The saddle is sooooo much more comfortable its incredible...

Before after an hour I was in pain, now I can ride for hours no problem...

Thanks for the views, people. I must admit that if I do get one it will be mainly to improve the appearance of the bike - if it's more comfortable that would be a bonus. I was thinking of getting the slightly taller option.
What is the build quality like?

Pauly,

If you pop around my house at some point more than welcome to borrow mine for a week or two before spending the cash. PM or email me if you want to arrange. We need to take the front bracket off the bottom of your rider seat to fit the touratech seat. I am at home most of Saturday re-fitting my gearbox and possibly Sunday evening.

Cheers
