Touratech TomTom mount

Any suggestions how to fit a Touratech locking TomTom mount on a hexhead GSA so that it does not partially obscure the instruments? I have one, and the Touratech handlebar clamp fitting/bracket. Even with the TomTom slid all the way to the left, it still obscures the lower half of the speedo, the engine temperature guage and most of the odometer/tripmeter display.
