Touratech travel event 11th-13- May 2012

Do you have any idea what the off-road rides are like? And are they all the same? Although I've been riding for years I'm a newbie at off-road stuff and would turn up with a 1100 on Tourances.

Any thoughts?
 
They aren't guided as far as i am aware, you will have marshalls around a route up on Walters arena so you can ride within your safe zone, i might be taking another ride out if you dont fancy going around the arena, which will be a road ride with some easy lanes thrown in

just go and enjoy it , the off road will not be testing . last year they had marshals on the route and hints and tips were available its designed for pleasure and to encourage trail riding. if its drysh tourances are more than good enough and if there is a section you dont like you dont have to do it.
 
I'm tempted, but don't do camping, so will have a ring round the local B&B's tomorrow.:thumb

For future reference

Were the TT bikes at the arena available for all to use? I hadn't really given it a thought as I wanted to take my GS around for a blast.

Assuming the answer is yes, did you have to book one at TT or could you just turn up at the arena and wait around?
