Touratech Zega & Laser Can

Does anyone know if TT Zega panniers and rails are compatable with a laser exhaust. I have them fitted to my 1150 GSA and unless you use the extender pipe on the standard can the mounts will melt.

Just ordered a laser can and am wondering if the extender pipe will fit or is there another way to stop the mounting brackets melting ...

It will most probably not work with the stock pipe extension.

You can have a custom extension pipe made or you can improvise a shield plate over the plastic pucks on the pannier.
I have bent and rivetted some thin aluminium to the back of the pannier and it seems to work fine so far.
