I've purchased a pair of zega panniers and frames for my 1150GSA, just had the frames powdercoated and went to fit them for the first time! Horror, the right frame doesn't line up properly!! my mind raced to Long Way Round when Ewan and Charley are seen bashing the frames to fit! the brace too won't quite line up, also, the rear footpegs won't go on without some form of cutting the plastic shroud. Has anyone got any tips? or has Touratech realised this and introduced a new frame...any advice welcome

Frames fitted, only drawback is the panniers don't fit as the rear indicators are too close, i know that there were adaptors so that the indicators were brought back about 25mm anyone have any, or, where i might get a pair?

Hi, mine came with shorter indicators but it's an old model.

I don't remember how these were made to fit, but the indicators were just bent on their rubber stalks a bit. Didn't make any difference over the 98,000 miles the bike covered before I sold it - it is still going strong, it went to the Elephant Rally this February.

PM our lovely Vern, he might have some of his indicator stem shortening kits still available.

Had the same issue a few years back, only had to shorten one stalk. Also moved them rearwards as I didn't like the fact that you couldn't really see them from the side, (just made two small brackets up)

Thanks for the help guys, i got a guy at work to manufacture some for me .... he's done an effing good job, pics to follow, ive had to re-drill the fitting system to the panniers, however they seem to be facing "downhill" as i've followedd the line of the frame, does anyone have a template so I can have the best possible fitting for the panniers?

Thanks for this guys. This theead explains the mod the previous owner did to my bike to fit these paniers. I was confused why the indicators had been fiddled with.
