ps the roads out here are absolutely Brilliant!!! :thumb

Andy, good luck for your trip, just spent the last hour or so reading your blog and enjoyed it, coincidently, having been to most of the places you have mentioned so far and living near Yarmouth (and a previous resident myself) I have found it easy to relate to your experiences. Your current trip is one I would like to undertake my self, perhaps when I retire in a couple of years, so will continue to read with interest. john

Nice blog Andy. Not sure what your planned route is but a good route into Canada would be via Glacier NP in Montana , it's unmissable :thumb

Have a safe one and watch out for the cops who can zap you from their car even when they are travelling in the opposite direction :eek

Thanks John. I hope you make it. Say hello to Yarmouth for me. I'll be back there in September visiting friends so if you fancy a pint let me know.

Cheers

Andy

Thanks for the responses guys

Sorry about late response, we've been having trouble getting internet access.

Thanks for your comments guys and for reading the blog.

Haven't made Montana yet but I think I will in a few weeks time. My other half joined me in LA and we've spent about 10 days in California doing Highway 1 (which is outstanding) and visiting Yosemite.

The roads (especially 1) are just incredible (as long as you don't get stuck behind something) :o))

Locals are very, very friendly. :)

Hey Rushy I've just been through the Glacier NP. Amazing scenery. Going to the Sun road is brill.
