TourShell Jacket Fit

After much thought I've bought a new TourShell jacket and pants. This is my third BMW outfit and it really seems perfect for me at this point. But I'm not sure if I have the right size jacket. I ordered a 58 (euro) but it may be just a bit snug, even though I measured myself carefully according to the BMW size chart. I'm thinking of exchanging it for a size 60, in part because I may need to add an electric vest at times. The question is, should this jacket fit snugly or allow for more room?

You want a fairly snug fit to stop it ballooning and to make sure the armour stays in the right place if you are unlucky enough to have a spill.

You may find if you ride in a place with huge temperature extremes like New Mexico that you need more than one jacket - a jacket that is a snug fit without any liners or layers of clothing and a winter jacket that you can wear with plenty of layers.

The most important thing is to be comfortable - if you have ill fitting clothing then this may distract you and that can lead to awful consequences.
