Apologies for the slight thread creep, but I've got a couple of questions.

samsgs, did you order a Wunderlich cradle, and if so has it made a difference?

I can´t really tell, as I mounted my cradle after having the contacts renewed for the second time.
But since then, it haven´t been a slightest sign of any wear. (After covering more than the double in distance, compared to when this problem used to show up).

I would believe that it would prevent the wear to increase any further, also depending on how far it´s allready have reached.
But I´m quite shure that if your contacts allready have passed that limit, the cradle would slow down the further process considerably.

Hi chaps,
I have a bit of a quandry; I have a 2009 1200GSA, TTech handle bar crossbar, tomtom rider1 and TTech cradle that bolts to the cross bar.

The problem is I cant get it far enough left and it obstructs the clocks I tried making a hybrid ram mount with the stuff that came with the tomtom but it looks a total bolleaux and wobbles about like mad.
Is there a proper ram kit that will fix to the Ttech cradle ?
I see ram-man is dandy with these but I don't understand all the gobbledigook terminology, any chance of some pics and links I am after all a simple yorkshireman
