Towbar fitted to Mini Clubman

never had a towbar before never fitted a towbar before but i needed one so got one delivered to my door for £76 with single electrics.took me 40 minutes to fit the towbar which included removing and re-fitting the bumper.took about an hour to fit the electrics which included removing panels in the boot,fitting a relay and the electrics and putting everything back.not in a mini clubman but wont be much difference and to save £220 its worth getting the spanners out IMO

I've used them for years..
Nowadays [since 2000 iirc] all cars that are able to tow [Ford KA for example is one that can't] have predrilled and threaded holes
Makes fitting them a piece of piss..
Remember tho' if you have a canbus type wiring, you need a deceiver to fit in the towbar wiring

I was quoted £120 from Citroen just for the canbus adaptor, used one of the above from ebay and jobs a carrot..
