Tracks to waypoints to routes?

I have been messing with "Where's the Path ?"

I faffed about and made a track which,although I should be able to find on the 2610(Got a message saying info recieved)I cannot find

However a bit more faffing and prodding and I managed to send another to a GPX file and stored it in Mapsource.

Now,It is showing up in Mapsource as a conventional track.BUT.Is there way to convert this into an actual route?Or each track point to a waypoint?

Also If I SEND the said track to the 2610 I cannot find it.Where is it?

Have looked at the Mapource Tut but cannot seem to see what I require as with a search on here.

I will attach the file.

Another vote for WinGDB3, I use it all the time when planning routes.
