Hi Folks.
I can lead a trail ride around the Llangollen area on Friday 14th March. This will be free of charge.
The routes will contain mud, rocks, stone and water.
There will be some fords up to 700mm in depth.
The loop will get on towards 100+ mile with fuel at about 50 mile.
Packed lunch will be required for there is now catering outlets.
This will be an earlier start than usual, at 0830hrs, from here:-
Byway 74, Fron.

Be careful turning into this Byway off the A5, this is a major trunk road!

This ride will cater beginners and improvers. Advice and instruction can be given if required.
The pace will be dictated by slowest rider, and as usual nobody gets left behind.

No racing numbers will be required as this is not an enduro.

Preference will be given to new riders and people from far afield, to encourage some new blood to Wales (not literally!).....

I'll need to check with work, to see if I can get Friday off.
I'll let you know for sure tomorrow, but I will be on an XChallenge (does that class as a pogo?) if I can make it.
I hope that there are enough petrol stations on the way. Bloomin small tank on the XCh, compared to the ADV

Nope, it's about 40 kilos too heavy! So long as you can pick it up you should be OK

Not this time but one day I'd love to come along even tho its a bit of a trek from up here. however my machine would be one of the following two bikes so maybe not suited to some of the terrain you cover - a bit lost in deep water but can handle lots of rocky climbs.....
would I be welcome or laughed at (or both??)
