Transmission Oil

R1150GS. Not usually confused re:service items but could do with some advice regarding final drive oil change. Service Manual and "threads" on transmission oil seems to recommend synthetic 80-90. The nearest I can get up here in north west Scotland is Castrol Driveline Syntrax Universal SAE 75-90 API GL4/5. This is apparantly fully synthetic. Hoping that this is ok but I would value any advice from anyone in the know.

It will do it meets the GL 5 spec, if not convinced try one of the agricultural suppliers for a straight 90 fully synth GL 5 oil.

Silkolene Silktran SYN 5 is another suitable option, see bottom of this page for spec
