Anyone recommend where to get suitable armour pads, probably d3o i guess, to fit Klim Traverse kit? I've tried Pads out of a few pairs of other manufacturers clothing, mainly BMW, but none seems to fit very well, even the shape of the hip pockets is different. Mainly concerned for knee & hips for the trousers as I intend wearing body armour under the jacket.

Try Gaz at Adventure Bike Warehouse ime sure they sell the Forcefield armour that fits the Klim stuff.

ABW does sell the Forcefield stuff. Personally I find the D3o stuff less intrusive as it seems to be more flexible and a little thinner. Though if the marketing of the D3o is to believed, then it is just as good.

One of the shoulder pads (D30 type) though keeps on rotating when I put the jacket on which is mildly annoying.

Getting hold of the D3o isn't easy though, ebay / google / amazon etc might be of help.

+1 for d3o in the Traverse.

The hip pads fit much better. For off-road though, I use Knox knee pads in the trousers as I worry that the d3o ones aren't really big enough and I fall off a lot!

I tried Forcefield stuff but found it too restrictive in the pockets of the Traverse, which is odd because, I too use body-armour instead of jacket armour when off-road but my body armour is Forcefield!

:nenau

I use the forcefield armour in the hips and the Knox knee guards on the legs as I don't like the armour twisting on hitting the ground. The upper I use the forcefield shirt.

d30 sell a newer version of armour for the Traverse - sold by Adventure Spec.
