Just bought a Beta REV3 270. It's road registered and taxed/insured but the number plate is a reflective panel stuck on the rear mudguard with v.small letters/numbers. Check out betatrials.co.uk,you'll see what I mean.
I've been stopped a few times over the years for plates that did'nt comply (on Harleys) so I know what is required......I've learned my lesson officer.
BUT. On the Beta's V5 it states, where the type approval no. would be,that the vehicle is EXEMPT.
What does that mean and does it have any relevance? Anyone know?
There's no seat on the bloody thing so I'm not exactly going to set off along the Road of Bones, just up the 'dale with a fly-rod.
