Fun day on Saturday, competition on Sunday. Local weather forecast looks good Friday/Saturday but iffy on Sunday.

This is only the 2nd or 3rd event on Nevis Range, seems to be growing in popularity.
I hope to get up for a few hours at some point.

A few pics from today.

I remember when trials bikes had seats and all you needed was a helmet (not shown :D) and a pair of ribbed front wellies. :blagblah

Hi Dazzer, still in the same pub.
Funnily enough, Im heading down your way this week, booked a couple of nights in York for a short break with Kathleen and no children. :D
Back at work on Friday.

The bikes were just a wee bit different back in the day Davy :D

Was there over the weekend too with a couple of mates. First trial I've been to, good fun.

Saturday weather was very good and the crowds were entertained to a "Highland Challenge" between Dougie Lampkin and Takehisa Fujimori which culminated in a mountainbike race.

Good pics lads. Wife and I there both days and the weather was superb on Saturday and fine enough on Sunday. Didn't see you GC otherwise I would have done my best to hide from you :augie
Scotty Dog's last pic features me and Mrs Rustle! Wife's head just visible above the Observer's left shoulder and me next to her explaining how easy I'd make that boulder!

Nipped up to Ardnamurchan for a few days last week. Waiting for the Corran ferry, chatted to a bloke on a brand spanking 12RT. Turned out he was the resident medic for the trial and was there on expenses. Ditto his GS riding colleague (female) who's normally an anaesthetist at Guy's Hospital.

Nice work if you can get it! Especially given the weather last week.

I'm sure your son used to post on here using the same Username. He came to a couple of meets as well :thumb2
