Trickle charge an 1150 ?

i have a 2005 1150 adventure. Can I connect a trickle charger to the + mount on the side of the bike and the earth contact on the cylinder to trickle charge the battery ?

Why don't you just get a spare male auxillary plug and use that to attach the charger.

Its simple and neat.
