Hi All,

I think I borked mt 650 gs when I was attempting to install some aux lights.

I tapped the relay in to the taillight, but I pretty sure I have got the connections wrong - the tailight now doesn't come on (the aux lights didn't work either when I flicked the switch).

I've removed the aux lights - still nothing. Brake light and all other lights seem to be working fine, running a 12v+ from the battery to where I tapped into the tail light makes the taillight work again.

Any thoughts on how to resolve this, or what could have blown?

How do I check if a fuse is blown?

I opened the fusebox cover - they all look fine, is there a guide to which fuses do what?

Reading the guide now :blast

Don't know how (or why) you 'tapped in' to the tail light wire but it sounds as though you may have cut through it.

Tapped into the tail light via a relay so the lights would only work with the ignition on rather than just going directly to the battery.

I thought that's what happened (I cut through it) but I stripped back the cable further on both sides and ran a cable between the points and no joy.
