Thanks again Paul...i realise now where Andover is... :) :) :) ..Let me another question..¿would be necesary to book BB or campsite places for 7,8,9 th july (Hogroast meeting) or there are quite enough of them..? Gus

Camp site is huge so you will not need to book. if you want a BnB you will need to book though.

Andover only has 4 good things about it.
1) The hogroast
2) Stonehenge is about 15km away
3) Britains greatest bakery
4) the road leading out of it :D

It's a nice ride cross country from there to Wales. Through the Wiltshire countryside , through the Cotswolds and into Wales. :thumb If you know when you are thinking of going , there's a couple of us from Belgium that visit the hograost each year. We cross by the channel tunnel and ride cross country through south east England and on to Andover.

Hiya Gecko:

The idea to join hogroast will be in my route because i thougth to show to my son Stonehenge and Hogroast is close there.
After hogroast meeting do you think to go to Wales?...Thanks. Gus

Ola Gus
Hogroast for sure but I haven't made any definite plans yet for Wales in 2006 although I would like to go back again. It was really good but I was also very lucky with some excellent weather. I can imagine in the rain it might not be o appealling. If I do go back I'm certain to use that same campsite at Forrest Fields. It was perfect and in an ideal location to explore the whole of Wales. Each day , north south east or west was just a good days ride out with some new places to explore before getting back for a Barbeque at the campsite in the evening.
Cheers

La tierra de los 1000 ríos, un lugar muy agradable a visitar con algunos caminos excelentes :thumb

Pity you're going to miss the Hogroast Gus - if its half as good as last years, you will be kicking yourself for weeks.

Let us know though when you do intend coming over to Wales - so we can recommend a few good roads / pubs etc. You never know, we might even buy you a pint. :D
