Mate, I`ve sent you a PM - this is the baby as fitted to my 2010 GSA. I do actually like it but once again I stress that the powder coating will not be as hard as the stainless underneath. Let me know what you think, if you wanna try it for the Alaska bash then fill your boots you remain under no obligation to buy feck all coz I aint like that :D

There`s more!

While we are at it, here`s the other images I took today of some more TB stuff. NONE of it is for sale yet though it may be on my site later and when it goes up for sale I`ll bang it all in the `for sale section` if I remember.........

I like this too. :bounce1

I can vouch for what Mark is saying. I had the standard bash-plate of my 2010 GSA powder-coated black (also the crash-bars). The guy that did it did a good job, but 6000 miles later it's been shot-blasted by the road crap and the underside has now gone completely dull.

Thats what I am talking about

Thanks pal, I agree and I can`t say it would look too good after a while. Other stuff not in direct line of regular grit shot blasting should be ok but I`ve seen too much powder coated stuff gone `nasty` and the mild steel underneath has rusted. The sump guard is stainless to be fair but nonetheless i don`t think it would look too nice :bounce1

I like the look of that alot, one question, would it/does it deflect the heat from the exhaust away from the feet, reason i ask is I have a condition that makes my legs and feet very dry and the heat does not help, specially in europe in the summer, this does not effect most people but it does me. Looking for as many things to help direct the heat away from my feet but still look good.
Thanks

No chuffing idea

Spike, sorry I have no chuffing idea and I wouldn`t want to sell you one just on that premise. Anyway, they aren`t on sale yet - the image is for Sgt Bilko to take a look. If I do sell them then I would be happy to send you one, if it didn`t work and deflect the heat then simply send it back for a 100% refund even if it is scratched or shows signs of `not new` anymore :thumb

Fair enough answer. to be honest even if it did not do the job of deffelecting the heat i would just keep it as I do like it reguardeless
when do you think you will start to sell them and how much do you think they will be(rough guide only appreciated)

Why not just drive faster? (Except in Switzerland though) :D

Well, the basic stainless sump guard costs £159 and I've just paid out £15 (which I didn`t think was bad really) to have it powder coated..................
