so im not into the lc so deceided to keep the old dinosaur and tart it up a bit



 
dont:blast got a pair of cast wheels at the powder coaters as we speak:D
 
My hubs are 5 years old so suffering just a bit of winter rash. Gloss black to go with the rims? Hmmm.
 
trouble is its the devils work trying to seperate the spokes from the hubs,not a lot of wheel builders will touch bm wheels.
 
Any more pics,im hoping to get my panniers wrapped in satin black and may finish the job and get the beak and tank done as well,Looks good!:beerjug:

Ive been talking to my powder coaters. £20 to do both hubs in gloss black. Rims the same but that depends if the anodising is failing. The hubs will probably need to be chemical dipped - another £10 each. The front hub will need new bearings unless old ones can be knocked out without damage which is unlikely.

Wheel build is £60 from Kev Blurton in Derby (one of the few who will do GSA wheels). If he has to strip them its another £90 for new spokes or his time stripping the wheels.
 
its a rick meyer from the states bought 2nd hand off this site and yes its very good much better than my sargent.
