2) The ZFE Control Module, any clues please?

The ZFE is a flat rubber mounted "box" with a couple of harness connection above the alternator under the tank.

Thank you gentlemen,

Need to find the white wire on the ZFE and the ignition live on the starter relay, so lets how much damage I can do with my multimeter ths evening then.

There is a "thin" wire that connects to a "thing" that piggybacks on the starter - might be that?

IIRC it controls non-engine electrical stuff such as Heated Grips, Alarm, Indicators, Aux Sockets.

All high tec descriptions then I see......

Plus the fact, and according the diagram that John posted a link to, unless the starter has been fitted under the seat, then I very much doubt it.
