This jacket is on eBay for £130. The seller doesn't know the model, and I can't find it by searching on Google images. I'm trying to work out if it's worth the money! Does anyone recognise it? Thanks in advance :thumb

It's not the goretex pro shell. As you say it's not the master. £850 was the sometime price of the master but it was available on occasion for less. Factor in the face to face discount that were sometimes avaible and I think it would be misleading to use the retail price as a benchmark. If you like the garment buy it or make an offer if that option is avaible. There are plenty of jackets for sale on the net. Or check out a new one. Jjh

Surely there must be some more info on the listing?
Waterproof, layers, goretex, trews attachment points etc?

I'd agree with the above that on the face of it, that seems a lot of beer tokens.

EDIT.....FOUND IT.

LADIES HEIN GERICKE GORETEX TEXTILE MOTORCYCLE JACKET

UK 16

WATERPROOF AND BREATHABLE

CE APPROVED ARMOUR IN THE SHOULDERS ELBOWS AND BACK

VERY GOOD USED CONDITION SHOWING SIGNS OF NORMAL USE

REMOVABLE WINTER LINER

A VERY EXPENSIVE JACKET AT A BARGAIN PRICE

I think I paid £150 for my Master V without the thermal liner, on eBay and about the same recently for a pair of Master V breeks. So that's a £75 or £80 jacket, I'd say.

Second hand Hein Gericke stuff seems to have gone up in price especially Goretex! Some seems to go for silly money, still I suppose if you like it/want something good items are getting harder to get?

And tumble drying goretex restores its properties VERY well..........counter-intuitive maybe, but true :)

Well actually....if we're being precise about it, no it doesn't. Tumble drying restores the DWR coating on the face fabric. It doesn't do anything for the Gore-Tex membrane, although washing it probably cleans some microscopic shite out of its pores and helps it to breathe more easily. :)

That's the best way foreword. It's not like you really really want that jacket. I'd go £50 and see what happens. Jjh

Well I rate HG stuff highly and in trying other jackets etc have soon discovered that there are 'breathable membranes' and then there's Goretex.
Have HG leather troos and HG Armacor/Goretex Leather/Manmade troos - both excellent
Personally for a jacket I use BMW Streetguard but would feel very happy using HG Goretex (if outer shell - not liner jobbie)
