TT 41 Liter tank and crashbar

does anyone here know if the Touratech 41 L tank will go together with the crashbars from wunderlich on the 1150 gs adventure?

I need a new tank the one on my adv is the small standard gs tank so I thought I would get the one from TT. Or should I just go with a standard BMW adv tank instead?

Get a s/h adventure tank you'll never run out of petrol, get two TT protectors they stick on the widest parts of the tank and stop it getting bashed, and they work 'cos I've tried it!!.

if you do go for the 'adventure tank option' for gawds sake don't get 'adventure bars'

because...

It 'aint, they dig in the road and flip the bike over upsidedown, take note of Mr S. he knows and unfortunatly so do I!. keep away from these they help if it falls over but not otherwise. S/h = second hand (supprise!) look in the TT
catalouge for protecters.

Ok so a s/h bmw adv tank and protectors from TT would be the way to go, and NO bmw adv crashbars hehe ok. Im glad then because I already have the bars from wunderlich.

Thanks for the help guys now I just have to find a s/h bmw adv tank then hmm someone know where I can get one

If it helps, I've got the 41 lt TT tank and it fits perfectly with the standard BMW crash bars on my 1100. Not dropped in since fitting tank but in past these bars were fine and saved bike on many ocassions.
