TT Centre Stand Guard mounting brackets..

Does anyone happend to know the size and a source for the metal and rubber "U" clamps used by TT and Wonderlich to hold their guards to the centre stands that protect the sump..

I am looking for two of these "U" clamps.

john , i got my last lot from www.namrick.co.uk , look in the clips section ,rubber lined p clips is what you want

Spot on Mike.. thanks.. umm might sounds like a silly question, but is the size referening to the circumference the clips will go around and still meet up, or it is the diameter or radius.. I am assuming circumference.. ??

I have a wonderlich centre stand guard, missing its mounts..I has four countersunk holes, so thought they mounted with two U clamps, but looking at it, it must be four P clips..

john, the size refers to the dia of tube that the p clips goes round ,guess if you removed the rubber lining to the clip it would fit a slightly larger dia tube .
im not sure if you can get the u clamps ,you are refering to tho

probably a case of lining up the sump guard and seeing if the p clips would be suitable

22mm, so the Namrick 21mm ones will be too small, perhaps go for 25mm

The plate..

I have had another look at the cat gaurd/centre stand guard. It does look like its should be two U clamps, not like the TT one with four P clamps.

The lower holes are too far inward to attached to the upright sides of the stand..

Has any one actually got the Wonderlich version of the TT centre stand guard and could please confirm this. It looks very similar but is perforated rather than one piece like the TT one.

Centre Side Protector : Wunderlich

Right its apparently called a "Centre Side Protector" by Wunderlich..

Surely someone must have one of these, and can tell me how it attaches please..

Rocks old chap,

A perusal of the Touratech site (I call it lateral thinking) shows the fittings for their centre stand skid plate. The two holes on the Wunderlich one appear to correspond to the paired holes on the Touratech one:

I had one of these and those holes were used by the U clasps to attach it to the cross bar of the stand. I think the Wunderlich ones will be the same.

The TT one also has to P clips to hold it where the Wunderlich appears to tuck in behind the "feet" of the stand.

I don't have the bike any more, but if someone has the TT model I reckon the sizing will be the same.
