TT2 and Bluetooth Phone

I have tried and tried again to get my old Sony Erricson K750 to work with the TT2 and Autocom BT dongle and have finally given up (the phone works fine when connected direct to Autocom BT dongle)

Can someone recommend a phone that will work with the following set up,

1. Autocom bloootooth dongle connected to TT2
2. Phone blootoothed to TT2, so I can make and receive calls from the TT2

Looked on TT website but would sooner have the group knowledege instead of blundering in and finding it doean't work

Have you tried deleting the pairing between the phone and headset, then Pairing the phone to the Tom Tom followed by the headset? I use a Caberg Justissmo with a built in bluetooth headset and if you have a pairing between phone and headset the Tom Tom doesn't want to know.

No did not do it that way, paired phone to TT and then paired TT with autocom, will give it a go as the phone works fine through the autocom . . . . thanks

Ok . . . . tried pairing the TT2 to the Autocom dongle then the phone, it worked fine paired to the dongle but when I added the phone to the TT2, nothing worked again.

So persevered and got the following method to work

Clear the headset and phone connection, do a soft reset (tiny hole next to USB connector)

Paired TT2 with Autocom dongle, do soft reset

Paired TT2 to phone, do soft reset

Low and behold everything worked, I now have route instructions, phone calls and connection to Traffic via the phone

It has now worked for 3 or 4 journeys but i now carry a paper clip in the tool kit cause it almost certainly will go t*ts up again
